If you like gentler species. Taman Kupu-Kupu (butterfly park) in Tabanan may be more your scene. The only park of it’s type in Bali, it plays host to myriads of species of butterflies and also has a breeding program to preserve butterflies from Indonesia.

The butterfly is maintained in a net house in which to grow various kinds of plants to feed caterpillars of these butterflies. Butterfly dead dujadikan usually preserved for decorations or souvenirs.
